Tears and Giggles

I was determined not to shed a tear of sadness on my birthday. That lasted until about 7:20am on my birthday, thanks to my precious God Daughter, who when hanging up the phone said "kisses, kisses" and when prompted by her mum who said "say happy birthday to Aunty Kathryn" yelled at top note "Cake....Happy Birfday CAKE!!!!!!!!!!!" (Jorja LOVES cake) Also during this conversation she said "dere is (translation = there they are) she pointed to mummy, daddy, nanny and poppy when asked by Aunty Kathryn where were they. Jorja also very excitedly asnswered Aunty Kathryn's question of "what are you doing?" with "going to chuuuurch!" (even though it was Saturday). When I got off the phone, tears streaming down my face, I went into Cameron who was in our bedroom and cried "it's too hard - I want to go home." (Of course, I did not really mean that....I was just very sad and desperately missing my family and friends.)
