Sitting here looking around our new apartment (which we are both very happy in) we realise that it is still looking a tad bit bare.
*Wondering Look*
What to do?
Do we buy a few insignificant pictures and hang on the wall? (No - boring)
Do we frame some of our favourite photos and put on display? (No - too many)
Do we just leave it bare? (No - too bland)
Do we choose one photo and get it printed on a canvas and hang it above the lounge? (No - what about all our other favourite photos?)
So, we finally decide to create a photo montage. For those of you who may not know what a photo montage is, I will attempt to explain. A photo montage is a photo created by thousand of smaller thumbnail photo's which, when you look at it, you can see the one big photo or the small pictures. It's a great way to display all of your favourite photos while not having heaps of frames that take up alot of space. We do a little research on the internet (gotta love the net) and discover that some very clever person has created a computer program that creates the montage for you. All you do is choose your main picture, add albums of all your other photos and hit create and off it goes colour matching and displaying all your piccies, and about 20 seconds later your montage is complete! When it is done you have the option of zooming in to see all the small pictures (which you can choose how many the program uses, whether they are used multiple times or how many to use.)
Then when you are finally happy with the finished product, you can get it printed and framed, or like us, get your montage printed on canvas!
How easy is that!
