Well, after my month long trip back to Oz, I am now safe and sound back in Dubai - to the extreme happiness of my gorgeous husband, whom I missed terribly. It took a few days to settle back in to the lifestyle here (as it is VERY different to home in Oz) but all is going well. My Doctor's appointment went well today....a few concerns with my blood pressure (still a little high) but generally I am going fairly well and baby is growing perfectly (photos to appear soon as soon as Cameron has a chance to scan them). Baby was sleeping this time (for a change) face down, so don't be suprised if it is born with a squashed nose - just kidding :) I also found out that I am a week further along in my pregnancy than we thought - I am actually 17 weeks and 4 days today, as opposed to 16 weeks and 4 days! Yippee - one less week to go :) Also I am officially due at the beginning of August, not the middle.
Cameron is still very tired but on the mend again. Hopefully a little rest on the weekend will give him a chance to catch up on some sleep and to spend some long overdue and very much deserved time together. He is playing golf on Sunday night, so fingers crossed for a good game.
We saw a very funny sight the other day that we really should share with you......We were on our way home from dinner when in front of us, on the back of a small, unenclosed ute, tied up were 4 baby camels! They looked so cute - I almost wanted to keep one......almost!
Also - (more exciting news) while out driving the other evening I saw a sign for Krispy Kreme doughnuts! I am so happy that they are here - I love their doughnuts (although I am sure the baby won't......sweet things aren't it's favourite :( A shame for me.
Well, thats all from me tonight....I promise to update our blog more regularly now that I am home.
